Copyright © 2026 Virillio LLC. Virillio-owned portions of Virillio Code are proprietary. This license applies to those portions; third-party components retain their separate licenses.
Permission to use
Virillio grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the official application for your own personal or internal business work, subject to these terms and required account authorization. You may make backup copies for that use. The initial release is free to use; connected AI providers may charge separately.
Source and redistribution
No right to Virillio’s proprietary source code is granted. Except as permitted by applicable law or a third-party license, you may not redistribute, sell, sublicense, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of Virillio-owned application components, or remove their ownership notices. You may not represent a modified or unofficial application as an official Virillio product.
Third-party rights
The application includes open-source components, including OpenCode. Their license terms take precedence for those components, including any rights to copy, modify, redistribute, replace libraries, or reverse engineer for debugging modifications. No restriction in this license overrides those rights. Copyright notices, license texts, and any required source-access or replacement instructions accompany each release and are accessible from Help/About. See third-party notices.
Your projects and account
You remain free to edit your own files and projects. This license does not transfer their ownership to Virillio. The app and bundled command-line tools require a Virillio account. A successful authorization permits up to seven days of offline use; after that, reconnect to renew access. Signing out or confirmed account revocation removes authorization. Your files and history are retained when execution is paused.
Warranty and termination
To the extent permitted by law, the application is provided as is, without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Review generated work and maintain your own backups. Rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected. This license may terminate for a material breach; third-party license rights remain governed by their own terms.
